Oman’s young rally champion Abdullah al Rawahi is aiming to end his season in Jordan National Rally on top with a new race win, after competing in the final round of the championship on Friday at the Dead Sea and Jordan Valley.

Three stages, one at Sewamah and two at Jordan Valley will be the race venues.

Along with Abdullah, some Jordanian drivers are in contention for the title of this season.

Al Rawahi is aiming to claim his second

rally trophy this season after the last one in round three.

Abdullah said he will look to perform his best in the final stages.

“I am happy to be back to Jordan after winning the last round. I hope to perform similarly this time by finishing on top though in a race anything can happen during the stages. I will do my best to win with my co-driver Atta Al Hamoud

and to make all our supporters in Oman and here also happy."

The total rally distance is about 264 kilometres of which 63 kilometres are special stages.

Abdullah Al Rawahi and his Jordanian Navigator Atta AlHamoud on Subaru Impreza N14 will join other Jordanian drivers like Shadi Shabaan, Tareq Al Taher, Ehab Shurfa and Assem Arif to target the title of this rally which may help them to become the champion of the season.

After missing the first two rounds of the championship due to the restrictions of Coronavirus and the travel ban, the Omani champion is looking forward to winning the race.

Abdullah has enough experience on Jordan’s stages even the organising committee has changed the direction this time with new stages to add more challenge to the final round.
