All flights to and from Muscat International Airport have been postponed and rescheduled to a later date in the evening or until further notice, Oman Airports said in a statement.

''We would like to point out that flights through Muscat International Airport continue to operate. Some flights have been rescheduled based on the airport procedures to avoid the direct impact of the weather situation. We would like to alert everyone to check the dates of their trips and any updates around them, via an auto-updated flight schedule in the Oman Airports App available on smartphones. Also, they can review their travel agencies or airline offices."

The decision was taken to avoid any risks that may result from the direct impact of climatic conditions on the operation of operations at the airport.

Due to the weather conditions, SalamAir flights to Doha and Jeddah were rescheduled for further notice.

Due to exceptional weather conditions, a number of incoming and outgoing flights at Muscat International Airport have been rescheduled as per given times, Oman Air said in a statement.
