Muscat: As the tropical condition is expected to bring heavy rain (200-500 mm) associated with strong wind and storm surge in the next 48 hours, authorities urged people residing in the direct impact zone to move to safe areas.


Those residing in the low-lying and seaside parts of the Wilayat of Barka to the Wilayat of Saham, coastal areas of Muscat Governorate and some parts of the coastal areas of South Sharqiyah are requested to head to evacuation centers.
