Salalah: The spring season began in Dohfar Governorate today, 21 September. The season, locally called "Al Sarb” continues for three months and ends on 21 December every year.
Sunshine, moderate weather, low humidity and stable sea conditions mark the spring season in the Governorate of Dhofar where breathtaking scenery adorns the mountains, plains and deserts.
Once the reigning fog dissipates, the first sign of Al Sarb season, tourists flock to Dhofar to enjoy the fine weather, the cool breeze and watch colorful flower beds in the making.
Al Sarb is also a harvest and business season during which farmers, fishermen, livestock breeders, honey traders and tourists engage in a marvelous exchange of benefits.
