Oman marks zero Covid-19 deaths in two days

Oman reports 114 new cases, 226 recoveries in three days

Muscat: As many as 114 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were registered in the Sultanate over the past three days, in addition to 1 new Covid-19-related death cases.


This brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 303,423 in the Sultanate.


The total number of Covid-19-related death cases reached 4,093, the Ministry of Health said.



Over the past three days, Oman reported single death case which was on Thursday and zero death cases on Friday and Saturday.



The Ministry added that 226 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 293,844 recoveries.


The Ministry also pointed out that 6 cases were hospitalized over the past 24 hours, as the total number of current hospitalized Covid-19-infected patients stands at 61 of them 22 are in intensive care units (ICUs). --ONA
