Oman marks zero Covid-19 deaths, second time within 1 week

Muscat: As many as 45 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were registered in the Sultanate over the past 24 hours, in addition to zero Covid-19-related death case.

This brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 303,268 in the Sultanate.

The total number of Covid-19-related death cases reached 4,090, the Ministry of Health said.

The Ministry added that 84 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 293,498 recoveries.

The Ministry also pointed out that 10 cases were hospitalized over the past 24 hours, as the total number of current hospitalized Covid-19-infected patients stands at 56 of them 28 are in intensive care units (ICUs). --ONA
