MUSCAT, Sept 13


Galfar Engineering and Contracting SAOG, publicly listed Omani contracting firm, has announced that it has been awarded a contract valued at RO 40 million for the construction of a gas pipeline segregation project for a subsidiary of OQ, the Sultanate’s integrated energy group.


Dr Hamoud Rashid al Tobi, CEO, Galfar, said in a filing to the Capital Market Authority (CMA), said the company will undertake the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) package of the 48-inch ‘Rich and Lean Gas Pipeline Segregation project in the central part of the Sultanate.


The contract will strengthen the company’s revenues, as well as enhance its standing in the Oilfield Contracts segment of the market, he added
