Omani photographer wins Saudi award

Muscat: Omani photographer Ahmed bin Sulaiman al Sa’eedi won the second place in the 2021 Harvest Seasons competition organised by Wameed Photographic Group in Saudi Arabia. “My photograph which depicts a man sorting dates after the harvest process, preparing for the boiling process bagged the second prize. The competition aimed at shedding light on the harvest seasons, farm products and the natural landscape,” Sa’eedi said.


Sa’eedi, who is a full-time photographer at the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, said he uses his weekends to move around the interior regions to take photos.
