Muscat: Sayyid Badr Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister on Thursday received Suh Wook, Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Korea.
The meeting reviewed the joint cooperation between the two friendly countries and means of enhancing them.
The two sides exchanged points of view on regional and international matters of common interest.
The two sides emphasized on the strong political and economic relations between the two countries, as well as the existing military and security cooperation. They reiterated the keenness of the two sides on expanding prospects of cooperation and partnership as the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries draws near; those relations date back to 1974.
The meeting was attended by Khalid Hashil al Muselhi, Head of the Minister’s Office Department, officials from the Foreign Ministry, Kim Chang Kyu of the Republic of Korea to the Sultanate and the delegation accompanying the guest. --ONA
