UTAS Sohar concludes 'Imdha' programme

MUSCAT: The University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS) in Sohar concluded on Monday, the 'Imdha' programme, which was organised by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Shinas.


The closing ceremony included announcing the results of the best student company, in addition to an exhibition that showcased innovative products made by those students.


The programme also included a speech by the competition jury, delivered by Issa bin Salim Al Balushi, a businessman, in which he explained the importance of student companies in the labour market.


Five companies took part in the contest, in which the student company 'Dajajj' won first place. The other participating companies and the jury's members were honoured. - ONA
