In a statement to Oman News Agency (ONA), Ahmed al Maimani, Director of the Municipal Affairs, explained that these projects meet the needs of the people and add an aesthetical and civilised view to the place.
Closed and air-conditioned glass canopies, a decorative roundabout, gardens and parks provided with recreational services are among key projects that will see the light of day.
He added that the department is committed to set a number of landscaping projects to add the aesthetic character to the wilayat.
