Human beings have no choice on what they do or have in life; it is merely the Creator, the Almighty Allah, who blessed people with different fortunes and fates. With no distinction to certain origins, religions, languages or cultures, all have been granted what is good and serves them better during their lifetime! Fortunes and blessings are fairly bestowed to people, but it is sometime human’s desire and greediness to get more and more! Though, everyone likes to be self-satisfied, praised and respected too.
That is why regardless of what each person does as a profession, he/she would love to be appreciated and get his work valued, either by a boss or colleagues! Of course, it is not something abnormal that one looks for others’ compliments and acknowledgement. This marks an essential part for self-motivation and encouragement to feel as a person of value.
Weather at work or home, one would always need to be admired and motivated to keep a good spirit and attitude.
However, the motivation should be even more at workplace, so employees shall become inspired at all times. Thus, their spirit and devotion is always high. Having a satisfied employee would definitely reflect on the overall performance and production. Eventually, it ensures getting outstanding outcomes and happy customers too. That is way the world is observing various occasions for workers and others of specific professions too. This signifies the importance of the different occupations and efforts of diverse professionals.
Such celebrations mark a gesture of honour and tribute to all those people for their great determinations and important roles in serving humanity in different characters and assignments. However, all organisations should express their tribute and appreciation to their employees all year-around and not only in certain occasions, which most are designated in specific days of the year.
Accordingly, employees will undoubtedly feel how valuable they are to the organisation and nation overall.
Appreciating employees' devotion, hard work and commitment shall never be designated on a particular day of the year. Rather, a boss shall commend employee’s daily performance, so their spirit and dedication remain positive all times. In fact, all what really counts to employees is just a little of appreciation and respect. Mostly, this costs nothing more than having confidence on them and believing in their capabilities. As it has been said, it costs $0.00 to be a kind human being; a merit being looked for in the character of all bosses!
Having confidence on employees and colleagues would certainly mark a dose of encouragement to them. Likewise, it brings a push to open up their minds towards creativity and aiming high. This will also instill the belief of work as not a man's punishment, but a reward, source of strength and a pleasure of course. Generally, all employees' assignments are significant. Otherwise, they would have not been hired in that particular job. Regardless how simple is the role or an impact of a certain job, it should not be undervalued; we all complement one another in life and at work too.
Dear employees, whatever you do, work at it with all your heart as working is for the Lord, not for men. As the Almighty Allah says in the Holy Quran: "And say, Do as you will, for Allah will see your deeds, and so will His Messenger and the believers". Bruce Lee, a famous Chinese martial artist and movie star, was right to say, “Do not pray for an easy life, pray for the strength to endure a difficult one”.
