MUSCAT: The National Chess Team will participate in the 2021 Fide Online Chess Olympiad which will be held from August 20 to September 15.
The event, organized by the International Chess Federation, will see the participation of 163 countries.
The National Chess Team will be represented by 6 players in different categories as follows:
In the men category: Salim al Amri and Amin al Ansi.
In the women category: Anat al Isa'ee and Al Anood al Ghafri.
In the youth category: Hamoud al Busaidi and Rawan al Balushi. -- ONA
