Royal Office minister receives UAE chief of armed forces, French ambassador

Muscat: Gen Sultan Mohammed al Numani, Minister of Royal Office received in his office on Monday Lt Gen Hamad Mohammed Thani al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Armed Forces and his accompanying delegation.


The meeting reviewed the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and aspects of the existing cooperation in several spheres between them to serve the joint interests. The two sides also exchanged views on issues of common interest.


Al Numani also received ambassador of France to the Sultanate at the end of his tour of duty as his country’s ambassador to Oman. The ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the care extended to him by officials in the Sultanate.


On his turn, the Minister of Royal Office thanked the ambassador for his efforts exerted during his duty in the Sultanate to enhance the existing bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields. He wished the ambassador continued success. --ONA
