The national airline, Oman Air, has announced an ease in restrictions for travel to Egypt.

"No PCR test or quarantine is required in Cairo if you’re fully vaccinated with a second dose taken at least 14 days prior to arrival," the national airline said in a statement.

The national airline is operating an extra flight between Muscat and Cairo on August 15.

The Supreme Committee lifted Egypt from the list of countries from which arrivals are banned on July 6.

"The Supreme Committee on Covid-19 has decided to extend the suspension of entry until further notice for arrivals from India. Omanis, diplomats, health staff are exempted from the ban and will be subject to entry procedures, Oman Air said in a statement.
