Health Ministry continues Covid-19 vaccination campaign

Muscat: The Ministry of Health continues vaccinating people in all governorates of the Sultanate within the National Immunization Strategy.


The vaccination centres are witnessing a great turnout of target segments amid a smooth process of entering the centres and getting the vaccine.


The drive for students aged 12 years and above reached its third week and it sees a great turnout of students. The ministries of Health and Education aim to vaccinate 320,000 students from public and private schools.


The ministry also continues vaccinating target segments eligible for the first dose as well as administering the second dose for those who completed 10 weeks since taking their first dose.


The ministry emphasizes the importance of booking appointments in advance before heading to vaccination centres in various governorates of the Sultanate. This comes in order to ensure a safe and smooth process for all, with full adherence to preventive measures.


Several people targeted for vaccination applauded the ease and smoothness of the followed procedures in getting the vaccine. They also valued the efforts exerted by the government in ensuring the wellbeing and safety of citizens and residents in the Sultanate. --ONA
