Muscat: Sayyid Badr Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, on Thursday phoned Ramtane Lamamra, Minister of Foreign Affairs in the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.
Sayyid Badr expressed his deepest condolences and sympathies to the Algerian government and people on the victims of the fires broke out in several provinces, praying to Allah the Almighty to have mercy on the victims and grant the injured a speedy recovery.
Sayyid Badr further added that the Sultanate stands in solidarity with Algeria against this calamity.
The two ministers stressed the keenness of Oman and Algeria to continue boosting cooperation in different areas to serve joint interests. --ONA
