Muscat: Salim bin Mohammad al Mahrouqi, the Minister of Heritage and Tourism, has issued a decision to form a management team for Omani Historical Society, which will specialize in studying Omani heritage, history, and civilization
It will also contribute to preservation, protection, and documentation of the Omani heritage, organizing events, and communicating with relevant scientific and intellectual institutions locally and globally.
The members are Sayyid Noah bin Mohammed al Busaidi (chairman), Dr. Ibrahim bin Yahya al Busaidi (vice chairma), professor of Modern and Contemporary History at Sultan Qaboos University.
