

Muscat: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism issues a circular allowing hotel establishments in the Dhofar Governorate to increase the capacity, which will meet the demands from tourists during Khareef season.
Hotels in the governorate can operate with a capacity of 75 percent room occupancy from today until further notice, while adhering to the approved preventive measures.
The use of hotel facilities is limited to in-house guests during the lockdown period.
Employees working in hotel establishments can obtain permits from their workplace to pass during the closure period.
Citizens and residents of the Sultanate who have received at least one dose of the vaccine approved in the Sultanate (those aged 18 years and over) can enter the Governorate of Dhofar.
Foreigners who have received two doses of approved vaccines will be allowed to enter the Dhofar governorate from 5 pm on July 9.
