Sayyid Badr to attend swearing-in ceremony in Iran

Muscat: Assigned by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, left for Iran to represent the Sultanate at the ceremony of swearing in the president-elect, Dr. Ibrahim Raisi in Tehran on Thursday.


The Minister of Foreign Affairs is accompanied by an official delegation that includes the Sultanate's ambassador to Iran, Ibrahim bin Ahmed al Maeeni, Khalid bin Hashel Al-Maslihi, Head of the Foreign Minister's Office Department, and Saud bin Ahmed Al Barwani, Head of the Gulf Cooperation Council Department.


The Foreign Minister was bid farewell upon his departure from the country by Ali Najafi Khoshroudi, the Iranian ambassador to the Sultanate, and Dr. Khalid bin Saeed Al Jaradi, head of the Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
