Muscat: Strong winds in parts of Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates have led to rising dust and a decrease in horizontal visibility.

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) said that motorists should exercise caution, as there are reports of sands covering roads leading to Dhofar at Al Ghaftain and Al Zamaim in Al Wusta governorate.

Meanwhile, there are reports of long queues of vehicles on the Nizwa-Salalah Road due to sudden demand for fuel as Salalah-bound Khareef tourists started taking advantage of the new lockdown timings (10 pm- 4 am) of the Supreme Committee.
