Muscat: As many as 1,926,307 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in the Sultanate since the start of the National Immunization Campaign (53 percent of the targeted population).
The number of those who took the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine stood at 1,587,784 comprising 45 percent while the number of those who took two doses stood at 338,523 comprising 10 percent.
Muscat governorate came first in the number of vaccinated people that reached 618,264 (55 percent of the target category) followed by North al Batinah with 234,808 (39 percent), then South Al Batinah by 153,277 (45 percent).
Today, vaccination centers in all governorates of the Sultanate witnessed good turnout from the target segments.
