Muscat: The Civil Defense and Ambulance rescue teams have found the fourth missing person in the Wilayat of Sur following intensive search efforts that took ten days.
The South Sharqiyah Governorate faced the brunt of the easterly disturbance, also known as the upper air low pressure over the Arabian Sea, on July 16.
Many places were flooded with wadis overflowing and inundation of seawater.
The public and private establishments continue their efforts to follow up the effects caused by heavy rains witnessed by some wilayats of the Sultanate. Work teams have been formed to identify certain issues and report them to the relevant authorities to find suitable solutions for them.
In the Wilayat of Sur, the government and private bodies continue their efforts to repair the damage resulting from the severe weather conditions which hit the wilayat recently.
