The movement of vehicles resumed on Saturday after a complete lockdown for four days between July 20 and 22 during the Eid Al Adha holidays.
Long queues of vehicles were reported on main roads leading to Muscat as citizens and residents returned home to resume work on Sunday.
The closure of commercial activities and the ban on the prevent the movement of individuals and vehicles will continue between 5 pm to 4 am till July 31.
It is expected that the precautionary measures taken by the Supreme Committee will lead to an improvement in the number of infections and death rates due to Covid-19.
