Muscat: The Supreme Committee has decided to allow the movement of individuals and vehicles, and to engage in the activities of food stores, bakeries, restaurants, building materials stores, electrical and sanitary materials, and fodder shops in the Wilayat of Sur between 7 am and 5 pm on Thursday (July 22) and Friday (July 23).


It also allows allowing different work teams to carry out their work during this period in coordination with the Ministry of Social Development.


The South Sharqiyah Governorate faced the brunt of the easterly disturbance, also known as the upper air low pressure over the Arabian Sea, on July 16.


Many places were flooded with wadis overflowing and inundation of seawater.
