The Ministry of Education (MoE) announced the winners of the Juniors Developers of Smart Applications Award for the academic year 2020-2021, at a virtual event.
The first place was claimed by Arab Gulf Country Culture app developed by Khadija bint Salim al Adawiyah from Aisha Al Riyamiyah School for Basic Education (grade 10-12) in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.
World of Cultures app developed by Mariam bint Abdulrahman al Zedjaliyah from Atika bint Zaid School for Basic Education (grade 6-10) in Muscat Governorate, came second.
Fatima bint Habeeb al Balushiyah from Al Amal School for Basic Education (grade 10-12) in South Al Batinah Governorate, won the third place for her application Oman Discovery.
The fourth place went to Aya bint Ahmed al Hinaiyah from Al Mumina School for Post-Basic Education (grade 10-12) in North Al Batinah Governorate for her application Get to Know Oman and the fifth place was claimed by City Tour Oman app developed by Noura bint Said al Rashidiyah from Abu Thar Al Ghifari School for Basic Education (grade 1-12) in Al Buraimi Governorate.
