Oman is very eagerly trying to find ways to support the youth by providing jobs in different sectors. Paramedical courses will help citizens to set up their own businesses and give jobs for their brothers and sisters.
The pandemic has underscored the need for and importance of talented paramedical professionals. Paramedical courses present ample employment opportunities to the youth. These courses are job oriented skilling programmes that transform the individual learner as a competent health worker.
In Oman paramedical is mostly in the hands of expatriates. So if the paramedical institutions are started then Omani youth may be able to open their own medical labs. Medical laboratory technician course is much in demand. Ophthalmic assistant, anesthesia assistant, physiotherapist, dental technician, operation theatre technology specialists, X-Ray technician, healthcare technology management specialists, and health insurance and billing experts are also in demand.
The duration of paramedical courses varies between six months to three year depending upon the nature of the courses. These courses are meant for students who complete school education. Even the government need not provide jobs to these trainees. They can open their own labs and start providing jobs to others.
It is evidently proved that Omani doctor’s services are excellent and they are doing good service to the society. In Oman medical insurance is one of the biggest fields. Every hospital requires at least three Health Insurance and Billing agents and at least one Healthcare Technology Management person. If roughly 500 hospitals are there, then we require 2,000 People. If they open their own labs, then they can provide jobs to few people.
Paramedic professionals are among some of the forefront runners serving the hospitals, clinics, laboratories and carrying out the coronavirus tests.
Para medicals are the first response medical staff. Whenever you call an ambulance or receive immediate care in hospitals; it is done by the paramedical staff. Paramedic professionals are among the most sought after medical experts who will be at your service in any given circumstance.
