His Majesty visits Saudi Arabia

MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik left here Sunday heading to Neom city, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), on a two-day state visit.


His Majesty’s visit comes in affirmation of the depth of historical relations between the Sultanate and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), based on the keenness of the two countries’ leaderships to enhance joint ties. The visit also comes in response to an invitation from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud of KSA.

During the visit, His Majesty is accompanied by an official high-level delegation comprising HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidy, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Numani, Minister of Royal Office; Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal al Busaidy, Minister of Interior; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, Eng Said bin Hamoud al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology; Qais bin Mohammed al Yousuf, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; Abdulsalam bin Mohammed al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority (OIA); and HH Sayyid Faisal bin Turki al Said, the Sultanate’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
