Air France has announced its long-haul flight schedule for the 2021-2022 winter season, which includes services to Muscat, Zanzibar, and Colombo from Paris.

Paris-Muscat will be launched on October 31 with a thrice weekly service, and Air France will also increase the frequency of its flights to Dubai (up to 14 services per week) from October 23.

With this, Air France intends to resume a flight from Paris to Muscat from October 31. The route was last operated in 1994 using the Airbus A310. The flight will utilize a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner three times a week on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Services to Colombo will operate as a continuation of the carrier’s route to Male in the Maldives, with three flights per week from November 1, 2021.

Meanwhile the carrier’s brand new route to Zanzibar will operate as a continuation of its flight to Nairobi, with a twice weekly service starting on October 18.

The airline said that it was “continuing to adapt its network and increase services to leisure destinations”, but stressed that the flight schedule is subject to change and “will be implemented taking into account the health measures currently in force in the various countries served”.
