Over 600 patients with chronic renal failure in Muscat

The number of patients suffering from chronic renal failure in the Sultanate has reached 2,500, including more than 600 patients in the Governorate of Muscat.


To meet the increasing number of patients, the dialysis centers have witnessed a qualitative and quantitative expansion with the establishment of 373 beds distributed across 24 centers in all governorates.


The Bausher Dialysis Center is one of the oldest and largest dialysis centers in the Sultanate, which opened in 1998 with 28 beds to serve 120 patients.


Today, with 52 beds it can treat more than 350 patients around the clock.
