The Ministry of Health (MOH) has said that the percentage of people vaccinated against Covid 19 in the Sultanate has increased to 18 percent of the total target population.

Of the 3,700,000 people who have been targeted for vaccination, 71 percent received one dose and 29 percent got two doses.

Badr bin Saif a-Rawahi, Director of the Department of Infectious Diseases Control at the Ministry of Health, said that taking vaccinations will become a condition for entering educational and government institutions in the future.

He added that it will complete immunizing 30 percent of the Sultanate’s population before July at the current pace of vaccine supply.
