MUSCAT: Evarist Bartolo, Minister for Foreign and European Affairs in the Republic of Malta, arrived here on Sunday on an official three-day visit to the Sultanate.
During the visit, he will meet with some officials in the Sultanate. He will also conduct a political talks session.
The Maltese minister and his accompanying delegation were received upon their arrival by Dr Khalid Said al Jaradi, Head of the Protocols Department at the Foreign Ministry and a number of officials.
MEETING WITH OCCI CHIEF
Ridha bin Juma Al Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, received Evarist Bartolo in his office on Sunday. During the reception, the promotion of trade exchange between the two friendly countries and benefiting from the incentives offered by the Sultanate to investors were reviewed.
MEETING WITH OIA CHIEF
Abdulsalam bin Mohammed al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority (OIA), also received in his office Evarist Bartolo.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed means of boosting cooperation in investment fields and benefiting from available opportunities in the two countries. — ONA
