MUSCAT: Qais bin Mohammed al Yousuf, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, on Sunday met with Zayed bin Rashid al Zayani, Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism in the Kingdom of Bahrain.


During the virtual meeting, they reviewed aspects of joint cooperation in the field of investment. They also reviewed the available investment opportunities in the two countries, particularly in the economic diversification projects.


The two sides highlighted the investment and business climate, as well as the pivotal role of the private sector in the economic development.


The meeting previewed Bahrain’s experience in e-commerce and means of regulating it. It also touched on the Bahraini experience in regulating food vending vehicles.


Meanwhile, the Omani side previewed Oman Vision 2040 and the target economic sectors, in addition to means of supporting small and medium businesses, and entrepreneurs. — ONA
