Indian cricketer Sreesanth will soon be seen donning the garbs of an Investigator along with bigwigs of Bollywood in a nerve-wracking action flick.
‘Patta’, as the former Indian pacer’s next film is called, is a Nirup Gupta’s Bollywood production under the banner of the Oman-based NNG Films and written and directed by South Indian director R Radhakrishnan.
“Patta is an innovative, experimental political thriller movie that no one has ever told before. I had many people in mind to become this character but my quest reached Sreesanth. As soon as he heard the story, Sreesanth happily agreed to become a CBI officer,” says the director.
The protagonist is a handsome and intelligent CBI officer who does not give his colleagues a grip on what is going to happen next.
“It’s pretty much sure that the story is captivating and all the actors, including Sreesanth who plays the lead will be a must-watch one as there is an innovative element that will captivate audiences from all walks of life,” Nirup Gupta, Patta’s producer told the Observer.
The film is expected to go on floors soon, once COVID restrictions are lifted, according to the director and producer.
