Muscat: Omran has launched the new identity of the national travel operator, in cooperation with Oman Tourism.
https://visitoman.om/ is the digital travel booking gateway of the Sultanate, which will provide travel agents and tour operators with access to a Business-to-Business marketplace that consolidates an extensive range of Oman suppliers providing travel and tourism services such as transportation, accommodation & experiences through a dynamic digital platform.
The project will make it easier for international travel agents and tour operators to find the right experiences, and for Oman tourism suppliers to market their products to travel trade globally.
In its first stage, the National Travel Operator will cover companies operating in the travel sector in the Sultanate such as public transport providers, hotels and airlines with global commercial markets, most notably in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland and India alongside the Gulf countries and others.
This important step sets ambitious goals in increasing the number of tourists coming to the Sultanate, achieving financial sustainability, enabling investments in the travel and tourism sector and supporting local tourism to provide an integrated Omani travel experience.
