MUSCAT: The Ministry of Health, represented by the Directorate-General OF Health Services in Muscat Governorate, initiated a drive-thru vaccination campaign for the government employees and the targeted groups who are eligible for the second dose at the Oman Automobile Association, on Sunday.

The ministry said that the targeted groups will be updated on a weekly basis.

Dr Thamra bint Said al Ghafriyah, Acting Director-General of Health Services in Muscat Governorate, said the drive-thru vaccination campaign aims to provide convenience for those taking the vaccine as well as reduce time and effort and pressure in the morning vaccination centres.

The service will be available between 4 pm and 9 pm from Sunday to Thursday, the official added, commending the efforts made by the health workers, Oman Automobile Association, Al Raffah Hospital, the Directorate-General of Medical Services at the Diwan of Royal Court, the Royal Court Affairs and the volunteers. — ONA
