The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) hosted ministers concerned with economic affairs with the aim of strengthening partnership, stimulating the business environment, and standing up to the challenges of the private sector.
The meeting was attended by Ministers of Economy, Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, and Labor.
Apart from the economic stimulus plans, the meeting discussed the initiatives of the OCCI in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and private sector institutions to create opportunities for around 7,000 job seekers.
The meeting also discussed the challenges faced by the private sector investors with regard to new fees for licenses and permits.
