New study to preserve local banana varieties

The Directorate-General of Agriculture and Livestock Research at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources is implementing a number of research projects through the main programmes dependent on the research strategy laid down in accordance to the government directives. In one of these studies the Agricultural Research Centre studied all types of local banana with the aim of preserving them. — ONA
