Life is full of different challenges, with most come unexpectedly in our days! Nobody dares to deny this fact for everyone could experience hiccups, difficulties, disappointments and obstacles of different forms in one way or the other. Regardless how hard or soft these challenges are hitting and breaking people, they make matters which require part of one’s attention, time and effort. Usually life comes with every dawn bringing a different surprise; either a pleasing or a frustrating one.

One just wakes up every morning with a distinct experience for the day! Possibly, more than a challenge on a day comes on one’s plate! Days are not all alike, so are life experiences and happenings. However, all what matters is the way one handles every challenge or experience that comes across. They are either making or breaking people for their reaction and attitude are what always count. Some are easily and immediately provoked while others are self-controlled and patient.

As people own the control button of how they run the show of their days, one should be positively looking at the brighter side of each experience. Although it is not easy to manage self-reaction, attitude and feelings, but one must try the best possible to have a good day and enjoy every moment of life. Helen Keller, an American lecturer and author, said: “Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.”

Most likely, all what one needs is just to have a dose of patience, which could cure tension, frustration and disappointment. Being hopeful could be another relief that makes people less tense. Staying positive and optimistic rise the level of patience in people. Usually, patience can help people achieve their goals, maintain a more positive outlook on life, and make them less reactive, which in turn will make them less directed to bad decisions.

Stress, regret and anger do not help in getting anything. Hence, when facing an uncertain future, a negative incident or something scary, one has to take a minute and think before acting on spot. Life is very short, so it should not be wasted in moments of sadness, misery and disappointments. Challenges are to be regarded as learning lessons and experiences, while disabilities should be turned into abilities that bring new opportunities. Just be positive and believe in yourself as greater than any obstacle.

As the saying goes, a minute of patience equals 10 years of peace. If one finds the brain deviates in a negative direction, perhaps recalling a positive incident would help getting back on track of mind to make a better decision. Patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting. Nobody pretends that exercising patience is easy, but one tries the best possible to overcome the bitterness of patience. As Aristotle said, patience is bitter, but its fruits are sweet.

Practically, everyone should always take the needed dose of patience whenever one comes across of a challenge in life. Likewise, as emotionally sensitive human beings we should all be fair with ourselves by having enough time to fully understand what happens and what are the possible reasons behind incidents and situations? Then, things will undoubtedly get clear for us, so we can wisely think of potential solutions.

Possibly, seeking support from others could work as another way of getting things out of our chest. Thus, we might need to get a proper consultation and an advice from trusted friends, colleagues or loved ones even. Receiving a word of commendation or lending a hand of support to others gives another mind to think with and introduces a better vision of decision-making. As it has been said, a friend in need is a friend indeed.
