The Sultanate today joins the rest of the world to mark the World Turtle Day which is celebrated on May 23 each year. The World Turtle Day is aimed to bring attention and increase awareness of turtles and as well as encourage human action to help them survive and thrive. It seeks to shed light on the threats and challenges facing turtles and the best practices for preserving and protecting them. — ONA
