The Arabian Leopard was spotted in the Jebel al Qamar mountains of the Dhofar governorate, due to the protection efforts made by the Wildlife Protection Unit of the Directorate General of the Environment.
"Great efforts are made by wildlife observers in the Dhofar in monitoring and documenting the Arabian leopard and other wild animals through field visits and the use of trapping cameras," a statement said.
