Muscat, May 5 - Muscat Municipality is intensifying its efforts to develop and beautify the sixth commercial district in Al Amerat, including efforts to regulate traffic movement at entry and exit points.
The project included the establishment of organised parking spaces for buildings and shops in an organised manner. The total parking spaces to be provided is 717, in addition to special slots for the disabled.
This project was launched due to traffic congestion and unorganised parking, especially in the evenings.
The Muscat Municipality is keen to continue the development process, by following a more flexible model and a sustainable future in terms of urban planning, infrastructure and various areas of municipal work.
