MUSCAT: The rare rock formations in Ras Al Jinz in the Wilayat of Sur have been attracting the interest of professional photographers, geologists and student researchers.

“Ras Al Jinz Beach is a tourist attraction, especially for photography enthusiasts. The diversity in nature around us allows anyone who carries a camera to capture the most beautiful pictures and the most wonderful moments,” said photographer Hussein bin Ali al Amri.

He added that “Ras Al Jinz is distinguished by its rock formations, which are attractive to the lenses of photographers.”

The Ras al Hadd coast is one of the most important and prominent tourist attractions and is the first spot on which the sun shines in the Sultanate and the Arabian Peninsula, and is characterised by the availability of many natural places and moderate weather throughout the year.
