The Samad al Shaaa Astronomical Observatory in the Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi has been organizing many field activities, events, and programs since its inception in 2014.
The head of the Samad Astronomical Observatory said that the observatory has taken upon itself to spread the culture of astronomy in Mudhaibi, North al Sharqiya Governorate in particular, and the Sultanate in general.
It has participated in many astronomical events in the Sultanate and is part of the Oman Vision 2040 and a large number of citizens benefited from the events, lectures, and seminars.
The observatory aims to support educational institutions by holding lectures, planet observation activities using astronomical binoculars, and how to observe and photograph those observations.
