Al Suwaiq look to sign professional players

MUSCAT, Sept 18 - Defending Oman League champions Al Suwaiq are planning to sign professional players and find new sponsors for the upcoming season. The club held a meeting to discuss the options of signing foreign players to boost the team for the competitive season. During the meeting, the first batch of payment for team expenses has been approved in this regard. The technical support committee of Al Suwaiq club held their first meeting after reestablishment of the committee recently. The meeting was presided over by Salim al Jahwari, the head of committee, in presence of HH Sayyid Fatik bin Fahar al Said and members of the committee.


Al Jahwari commenced the meeting by focusing on main supporting areas to be done for the teams. Also, he mentioned the importance of getting sponsors for the club to continue with positive results in the local and international tournaments. The sponsorship plan for upcoming Asian participation was focused during the talks. Sayyid Fatik appreciated the efforts that has been taken till now since the season commenced. He thanked all players and technical team for the positive results in last matches of team in the league and encouraged them to continue in the winning path. Ali al Khanbashi presented the technical report on the first match of the team in the league and he highlighted the main areas that require for more support in coming days.
