MUSCAT, May 13 - Al Ansar team clinched the title of the 13th edition of Al Sadaqah football tournament for the second time in its history. The Al Ansar team edged Al Taawoun team 2-1 in the final match that was held under the auspices of Dr Fuad Jaafar al Sajwani, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries in presence of Rashied al Hasani, Ash’shura member of Dima W’attayeen Wilayat and top officials. Khalid al Naabi struck both goals for Al Ansar team while Said al Siyabi netted the only goal for Al Taawoun team. “We would like to thank everyone who were part of the successful organisation of the tournament. Big thanks for all the government and private sectors sponsors,” Naser al Hassni, head of organising committee said.
