21 students graduate from Al Siyabi Academy

MUSCAT, May 13 - As many as 21 students participated in the karate training course which concluded recently in Qurayat. The Al Siyabi Academy for karate organised this training course. The final ceremony event held under the auspices of Shaikh Said al Ghezali Ash’shura member in attendance of parents of students who graduated. All the participating students presented a show that reflected their capabilities in karate. Ten students got yellow belt while eight students bagged orange belt. Only one player claimed red belt while another student clinched the brown belt. “This kind of sport is essential for juniors to gain some basic skills in Karate. Also, students can pass their leisure time with some useful sports,” Shaikh Said al Ghezali said. “We have different stages for the technical performance of students in the academy. First step is starting with initial assessment, evaluation on some practical exams and follow-up with technical performance,” Abdullah al Siyabi, chairman of Al Siyabi Academy for karate said.
