MUSCAT: Monday will be public holiday for all public sector employees on the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday. This was announced by Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud al Busaidy, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, and Chairman of the Civil Service Council on Tuesday. Sayyid Khalid greeted His Majesty Sultan Qaboos on this happy occasion, praying to Allah the Almighty to protect His Majesty and grant him good health, happiness and a long life and for the Omani people and the country further progress and welfare under the wise leadership of His Majesty. Shaikh Abdullah bin Nasser al Bakri, Minister of Manpower, said on Monday will be holiday for the private sector employees on the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday. All employees greeted His Majesty the Sultan on this blessed occasion, praying to Allah the Almighty to protect His Majesty and grant him good health, happiness and a long life. — ONA
