Prophet’s birthday marked

MUSCAT: On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tareq al Said presided over the reading of the biography of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) on the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday at Al Alam Palace in Muscat on Sunday. The reading was attended by a number of their highnesses, chairmen of the State Council and Majlis Ash’shura, ministers, advisers, commanders of the Sultan’s Armed Forces and Royal Oman Police, State Council and Majlis Ash’shura members, under-secretaries, ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions of the Islamic countries in the Sultanate, shaikhs, dignitaries and citizens. — ONA
