Rafo marks Armed Forces Day

MUSCAT: The Royal Air Force of Oman (Rafo) marked the Armed Forces Day during a ceremony held at Al Seeb Air Base in the Governorate of Muscat on Tuesday under the patronage of Ahmed bin Abdullah al Shuhi, Minister of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources. The participant column performed several military shows. The Rafo Music Band staged a musical show by playing various national and military musical pieces. The chief guest and attendees toured the fixed exhibition, as well as a show for aircraft, weapons and equipment used at Rafo. He also viewed scientific innovations and activities carried out by RAFO personnel that depicted aspects of development and updating enjoyed by Rafo. The ceremony was attended by the Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), commanders of the SAF Corps, military and security departments, members at the State Council, officials, senior officers at SAF, the Royal Guard of Oman (RGO), the Royal Oman Police (ROP) and other security departments, commanders, senior retired officers, commissioned, non-commissioned officers and personnel at Rafo. — ONA
